Vehicle Bingo

Level: Elementary
Language: British English Vehicle bingo board (PDF: 35 KB)
Vocabulary: Big, small, colour, vehicle
Time: 15 minutes
Organization: Whole class
Materials: Photocopies of the 'Vehicle bingo board' (one for each child); crayons

Hand out a photocopy of 'Vehicle bingo board' to each child. Invite the children to take out four crayons each: blue, red, green, and yellow. Explain that they can choose which colour to make each of the eight vehicles on the bingo board. Each vehicle must only be one colour and they must only use the four colours listed.

Ask the children to colour their vehicles. Call out the four vehicles combined with size and colour, for example A big red lorry, a small yellow car, a big green bus, until one of the children calls out BINGO! Make a list of the items that you describe as you go along. Ask the children to cross out their pictures as they are described and to call out BINGO! when they have them all crossed out. The first child to cross out all of his/her vehicles is the winner. Check to make sure that the winner has crossed out all the rectangles correctly.

This game is taken from Super Me 2.
